1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CoinCoach (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Not Financial Advice

CoinCoach provides general educational financial guidance, including AI-generated responses through the AI Coach feature. This guidance is informational only and is not professional financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.

For decisions involving:

• Specific investments or stock purchases
• Tax filings or strategies
• Major financial decisions (mortgages, retirement, business structure)
• Legal questions

3. AI Feature Limitations

The AI Coach is powered by a large language model and may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. Do not rely solely on AI Coach responses for important financial decisions. Verify information with authoritative sources or qualified professionals.

The receipt scanning feature uses AI vision to extract merchant, amount, date, and category from receipt photos. Extraction may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming the extracted information before saving it to your account. CoinCoach is not liable for errors in extracted data or for downstream financial decisions based on unverified extractions.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy and completeness of data you enter
• Decisions you make based on the Service
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Using the Service in compliance with applicable laws

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes (including tax evasion, fraud, or money laundering)
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service to harass others or generate harmful content
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated tools to access the Service in ways that violate normal usage

6. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Danger Zone → "Delete My Account". We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Termination does not relieve you of any obligations incurred while using the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoinCoach and its operators are not liable for:

• Financial decisions you make using information from the Service
• Loss of data due to technical issues, account deletion, or service interruption
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Use of the Service is at your own risk. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep CoinCoach available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
